Abuchi Ezekwugo

Early Life

Abuchi was born in London England on Dec 16th, 1975, the second son of Chief Gabriel Ogbolu Ezekwugo and Mrs Eunice Ezekwugo. Together with his older brother Oranye and younger, Chidi, they spent the first years of their childhood in North London. The family returned to Nigeria in 1979. These formative years in his home country, including primary and secondary schooling, instilled in him a strong cultural and work ethos.

Family

Abuchi was a terrific husband and dedicated loving father. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Rachel and two wonderful daughters: Allegra and Arabella. He loved them with every fibre of his being and will be dearly missed. 

Education

Abuchi’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business information technology from South Bank University, London and further studies at the London Business School.

Experience

A Vice President at JP Morgan, operating within the Fixed Income Business, Abuchi had previously held various consultant and leadership positions spanning 20 years. Gaining insights across different facets of banking, his illustrious career spans several firms including, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank. His experience spanned technical consulting, digital transformation, product development & program management and corporate banking.

Mentorship & Charity Work

Abuchi’s leadership had not gone unnoticed. He received accolades and recognition within the business community, contributing to JP Morgan’s BOLD initiative and further contributing to the work of The Prince’s Trust UK and SEO London.
